Getting involved
The Fayette County Public Schools system recognizes that parent/family involvement is essential as we partner to educate our district’s students and to prepare them for life-long learning. Schools, families, and community must all be actively involved in developing strong programs and policies that support the academic success of every student in the FCPS system. Find out more under our Family & Community Engagement Office.
After-school care
E7 Kids Cafe is a no-barriers after-school program on the corner of Fourth and Upper streets. E7 provides tutoring, supervised play, educational activities, and free dinner every weekday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. for any child ages 4-17. E7 is a drop-in center, meaning we don't require parental permission, we have no waiting list, and all of the services are free. We hope you will join us! For questions, contact program director Emily Yellman.
