I am so happy to be part of the SCAPA family and I look forward to getting to know my students and their families. 

I have two sons who are also part of the SCAPA family.  Sam is a senior SCAPA band major and alto saxophone section leader in the Lafayette High School Marching Band. Charlie is a former SCAPA theater major and pre-engineering student in his sophomore year of college. 

I am originally from Michigan and am an all-around Detroit/Michigan sports fan. I earned my Master of Education in Teacher Leadership from Midway University. I have two dogs, Finn and Mavis, and am mutually obsessed with my cat, Rosie.  In my free time and every chance I get, you will find me in the stands LOUDLY cheering on The Pride of the Bluegrass Lafayette Marching Band or attending live theater. 

I hope that all my students and their families enjoy the transition to middle school.  I am excited about exploring the rich diversity of cultures throughout ancient history and in our own community while students learn to become more globally aware, responsible citizens.
