Ms. Stivers is a 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. When she isn’t at school, Ms. Stivers enjoys gardening, cooking, hosting parties, attending community theater events of all sorts, and attending live music performances from Grand Night for Singing to Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour and everything in between. She also enjoys traveling with her family several weeks per year. The Stivers like to choose a specific region and carefully plan a trip exploring/hiking the outdoors while also visiting museums, signing up for food tours and throughly immersing themselves in each place they visit.

Ms. Stivers fell in love with SCAPA when her own sons attended as piano and visual arts majors as well as when she previously served as SCAPA’s Gifted and Talented (G/T) Resource Teacher. Ms. Stivers is a lifelong learner and teacher and she knows it’s a true privilege to be a 5th grade homeroom teacher in such a wonderfully creative school.
