I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher. At SCAPA, I wear a few different hats. First, I am a Middle School Spanish teacher. Second, I am a 6th grade Computer Applications teacher. Third, I am the School Technology Coordinator (STC). So, throughout the day I may be serving in all three capacities or just one.
I am a lifelong learner. I graduated from Lexington Catholic High School. Four years later, I earned a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University. My Master’s of Science degree is in Educational Leadership (University of Dayton). When I decided life wasn’t busy enough, I enrolled in Morehead State University’s Master’s of Arts in Teaching *(Spanish) program a few months after my third daughter was born. Currently, I am working on an endorsement certificate for Instructional Technology.
I am a proud wife and mother. My husband, Virgil, graduated from SCAPA. He is a violinist and father to our young three daughters, Golden Retriever, and Miniature Pinscher mix.
