• President Welcome & PTA Mission

On behalf of the Stonewall PTA, hello and welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Stonewall Elementary! I am hopeful that together we can work to make this year full of hope and engagement. This year we have a goal to create more inclusion in our PTA and to work collaboratively with all of our staff and families.

The PTA welcomes you to join and participate in PTA. All of our meetings are open to anyone invested in student learning. Monthly meetings are typically held in the library on the 3rd Monday of every month at 6:30 pm. Join us with your ideas and know that attending a meeting does not commit you to volunteering or membership. We do need volunteers and this year we challenge everyone to give ONE hour. If each of you gives us just ONE hour this whole year, that will equal over 1,300 volunteer hours! If you are interested in becoming a member of PTA, your donation will help fund many events for students.

The PTA’s mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Your membership and support will help this mission by supporting Stonewall students, staff, and our community. We do this by:

    • PTA links families to important school and community information.
    • PTA hosts fun, educational programs, and events for our families.
    • PTA raises money to support the specific needs of our school.
    • PTA offers kids the opportunity to explore the arts and sciences and develop critical thinking, teamwork, and creativity.

Looking forward to an exciting year!

    Sincerely,

    Brooke Kincheloe
