Beyond the Bell
An after school childcare program provided by Liberty Elementary
Liberty Elementary School community is committed to ALL students becoming lifelong learners through academic success and responsible citizenship. Beyond the Bell is a quality after school program for Liberty students. Students enrolled in Beyond the Bell will be placed in groups according to grade level and each team has an adult counselor. It is our goal to provide engaging and enriching opportunities for our students after school in the areas of academics and recreation.
Fayette County Public Schools and Liberty Elementary do not discriminate on the basis of gender, race, and/or handicap in the educational programs or activities which it operates.
Beyond the Bell is open to all Liberty students five years of age or older.
Students will be engaged in academics, art, technology, physical activity, and enrichment activities with their counselors. All students will receive a snack. There may be times when we use rooms with the following animals: snake, bearded dragon, fish, hermit crabs, and turtles (science room). These are the same animals they are exposed to during the school day.
Beyond the Bell (BTB) is open from 2:35 pm - 6:00 pm on each school day.
If the district dismisses school early, Beyond the Bell will be open for ONE HOUR beyond early dismissal. For example, if we have a one-hour early dismissal (school will dismiss at 1:35 pm) BTB will be open until 2:35. If there is a two-hour early dismissal (School will dismiss at 12:35 pm) BTB will be open until 1:35.
- In the event of inclement weather after 2:35 pm, we may contact parents (via text or phone) to pick up their students early. Please keep phone numbers up-to-date!
- If school is canceled- BTB will be canceled.
