About Our School
Designed to be an energy-efficient and sustainable school, our nearly 76,000-square-foot facility is itself a teaching tool. The solar energy panels, a rainwater capture and reuse system, a solar hot water system, permeable pavers, rain gardens and automatic electric lighting controls are visible to students and provide opportunities for classroom involvement and instruction.
Wellington also offers an outdoor classroom, designated recycling areas and native landscaping. Students have opportunities to extend their science learning in our STEM lab, the E=USE2 energy club, and Living Lab teams. We were also proud to be a 2014 National Green Ribbon School.
The school's own cutting-edge features go beyond the "green" physical structure. The combination of core content and focus on 21st century skills redefine rigor, preparing our students for a challenging and rapidly evolving world. Wellington is also proud to have more than 30 languages spoken among our students and families.
All Wellington students will receive high-quality instruction in a positive and encouraging environment to ensure high levels of learning for all.
