We are a school of language learners, and our approach to teaching and learning proves this philosophy. We are also a GLAD-certified staff (Guided Language Acquisition Design); our teachers have been trained to help all students in their endeavor to master the core content through the development of academic language. In addition, we have started a One-Way Immersion Program for students who enter school not proficient in the English language. Cardinal Valley is committed to meeting our students where they are and growing them individually.

What makes Cardinal Valley special

We believe children are more secure and socialize better in small groups. Our student-to-teacher ratios are within the guidelines recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Each morning, our teachers set up their classrooms for a variety of learning opportunities. In addition, families are always welcome. We encourage parent involvement through conferences, committees and social activities. We value the daily contact between parents and teachers at the beginning and end of the school day. We also house a Healthy Kids Clinic, which provides many services for students during the school day.
