Mrs. Mitchell is a 2nd Grade Teacher at Athens-Chilesburg Elementary.  She started her career in education in 1994 and has been an ACE Eagle since the school opened. Mrs. Mitchell began her career in Hardin County teaching 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades before moving to Lexington where she taught 4th and 5th grades at Dixie Magnet prior to moving to A.C.E.  She holds a degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree as a Reading and Writing Curriculum Specialist both from the University of Kentucky.  Mrs. Mitchell has been married to her college sweetheart since 1995 and had two sons. A.C.E. is a wonderful place. Go Eagles!
