I am a native Lexingtonian and Creeker for life! I attended both Tates Creek Middle and Tates Creek High School. I went to Transylvania University for my undergraduate degree where I majored in History and minored in Secondary Education. My masters degree in Education was earned from Georgetown College. I began teaching high school in North Carolina immediately after college and continued teaching high school in Frankfort after returning to Kentucky. A middle school position was the farthest thing from my mind, but I landed in one in 2010 and I have never looked back. This is my third year teaching at TCMS.
