Bonjour! I grew up in Southern Illinois and moved to Lexington after receiving a scholarship to attend Transylvania University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature. I then continued my education with a Master’s in Teaching World Languages from the University of Kentucky. Communication makes the world go ‘round and the better we can communicate (in a great variety of languages), the happier our communities and world will be!

I have always loved school, but never wanted to be a teacher until I was able to teach some classes at UK while working on my Master’s…turned out to be a perfect fit!

I also love travel, reading, shopping, crafting, and fishing & camping with my family!
