Welcome to third grade! You will be surprised at how much you will learn this year! We will also have a lot of fun in the process! I love third grade! This is my fourth year teaching 3rd. Prior to teaching third I taught Kindergarten in Franklin County for 6 years and second grade for one year, here at GSE.
I have lived in Lexington for 10 years with my husband, Guy, and we have 2 children. Jace, 7 years, and Dorsey, 4 years. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelors’ in Elementary Education and Spanish. Go Tops! I ran on the WKU Women’s Track and Cross Country team for 4 ½ years. I also received my Masters’ from WKU in Library Media Education. I received National Board Certification in 2013 in Early and Middle Childhood Literacy.
