  • BCTC Latino Leadership and College Experience Camp Summer 2023

    Who is LLCEC for?
    Latinx, immigrant, and refugee dual credit students

    Upcoming juniors and seniors
     
    What is LLCEC?Students will have the opportunity to attend workshops, college-like classes, get to know professors and students, and learn from community leaders, artists, and professionals. Participants will learn about topics such as leadership, identity, Latinx, indigenous, and black history, and community involvement. They will also be able to participate in sports, theater, art, music, and dance activities. Other activities include a college fair, rock climbing, movies, and dance lessons.  
     
    When is LLCEC?
    Sunday, July 23 through Friday, July 28, 2023
     
    Where is LLCEC?
    Transylvania University and BCTC Newtown Campus.

    Join us for the second annual Community Summer Teen Retreat, an affordable, fun, summer
    program at Dunbar and Tates Creek Community Centers! Teens ages 13-17 will engage with
    themed weeks including sports and health, technology, aquatics, diversity education, natural
    areas, culinary education, and more! Financial assistance available for qualifying youth.

    ¡Participe en el segundo Retiro Comunitario de Verano para Adolescentes, un programa de verano
    asequible y divertido en los Centros Comunitarios de Dunbar y Tates Creek! ¡Los adolescentes de
    13 a 17 años participarán en semanas temáticas que incluyen deportes y salud, tecnología,
    deportes acuáticos, educación sobre diversidad, áreas naturales, educación culinaria y más!
