Hello!  I am Mr. Brian Coleman, the new Digital Game Design and Development pathway teacher at Eastside.  My strong desire to help students bridge the gap from secondary education to both the workforce and post-secondary education led to my decision to teach career and technical education.  

As the new school year begins, I am excited to help students take advantage of the tremendous opportunities available to them.

It is important that students and their families know that I firmly believe students are capable of much more than they typically think they can do! I expect my students, each and every one, to set the standard and be the next leaders and innovators, not merely followers.

Work History: US Air Force (retired), CEO of a full-service computer company, 21 years teaching Information Technology and Engineering.

Family: Married 33 yrs., son and daughter - both married, 1 granddaughter 

Hobbies: Kayak Fishing, hunting, archery 

Fun Fact: Fluent in Brazilian Portuguese 

Pet Peeve: Having to repeat myself due to people not being respectful and listening the first time. 

Favorite Book: The Merlin Trilogy by Mary Stewart

Best piece of advice: Be honest with yourself and others at all times and always give your best so that you can go to sleep each night with a clear conscience.
