Our healthcare partners now offer COVID-19 testing by appointment for FCPS students and employees at every school. The testing is free and voluntary on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. Note: The cutoff time for scheduling is 4 p.m. the day before.
- Sign up at your school (students or staff)
To reduce the amount of class time missed by students and staff, anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19 can participate in our Test to Stay in School program if:
- They are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, and
- They test negative during free on-campus testing before school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
If you have symptoms, you should visit one of the other testing sites in the community.
Students and employees who develop symptoms during the school day can be tested by the school nurse or trained staff, and they will be sent home until symptoms resolve -- whether or not the test is positive.
New consent form: Since this is a new program, we have revised our COVID-19 testing consent form. Previous versions are no longer valid because they were related only to the Test to Stay in School initiatives. The new form emphasizes that testing can only be done at the request of a parent or guardian. For your student to be tested at school upon your request, please complete the consent form below. If you did one before Jan. 14, please submit the new version.

Other FCPS sites: Wild Health provides testing at 100 Midland Ave. in the former Herald-Leader building and at the district's warehouse at 1126 Russell Cave Rd.
