Ms. McCulley will be starting her second-year teaching at SCAPA. Although she is from Cincinnati, Ohio, Lexington has become her home over the last six years. She has a B.A. in Health and Exercise Science from Transylvania University, where she also played DIII Lacrosse and Field Hockey. Ms. McCulley is pursuing her Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of the Cumberlands, specializing in P-12 Health and Physical Education. She is currently the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Henry Clay High School. 

Before becoming a teacher, Ms. McCulley was a Sous Chef in downtown Lexington. She loves food and believes anyone can be their own chef. In her free time, Ms. McCulley enjoys trying new foods with friends or family and likes to play any sport she can be a part of--currently, that's soccer! She has a very active and very loving, two-year-old Beagle, named Marley, who most often goes by Marl. 

Her life motto is simple: "Eat well, move more."
