I am the Gifted/Talented teacher for Cassidy Elementary and Morton Middle School. I began teaching in Fayette County in 1998. I was a classroom teacher for 18 years at Glendover Elementary. I taught Kindergarten, fourth grade, and fifth grade. I moved from the classroom to Gifted and Talented in 2016. 

I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky.  I actually went to Cassidy and Morton myself as a child, so it is very exciting for me to return to Cassidy and Morton! I graduated from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. I received my Master's degree in Education from the University of Kentucky and my Gifted Endorsement from Georgetown College.

I live in downtown Lexington with my husband and my dog, Theo. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook, travel, read, and spend time with family and friends.
