    Honor Chorus Performance

    • Each FCPS elementary school selected 8 students to represent their school chorus program in the FCPS Elementary Honors Chorus. This event has been sponsored by FCPS for over 19 years. Last year, we were unable to hold the event as scheduled on March 19, 2020 due to the closure of schools during the pandemic. This year, even though we were unable to have an in-person event, each FCPS elementary music teacher had the option to rehearse and prepare their honors chorus singers virtually and submit individual performance videos for this virtual concert. Each FCPS school was asked to have their honors chorus singers prepare 2 performance videos: the Star-Spangled Banner and one additional piece. VPE was assigned the folk song "Shady Grove".  Enjoy!
