About Me
-
This is my 17th year as the Library Media Specialist at Winburn Middle School.
-
I earned my Bachelor in Arts in Elementary Education and Masters in Library and Information Science at the University of Kentucky.
-
I previously taught 5th grade for five years at Deep Springs Elementary and 1st grade for one year at Southern Elementary.
-
I have been married for 19 years and have a rabbit named Jack as well as four cats named Roxy, Layla, Luna, and Molly. We adopted four of our animals through local Humane Societies and saved Molly, a neighborhood stray, during a bitterly cold winter a couple of years ago.
-
I love to read, spend time outside when the weather is nice, and attend musicals or plays.
-
My favorite vacation spot is Pawley's Island and Litchfield Beach in South Carolina.
