  • An Important Update from Ms. Mason (FRC Coordinator)

    Weekly Food Bags

    If your JME student currently receives a Friday food bag, your student will continue to receive one.   

    Any future bags will be announced at a later time.

    Food Locations for Breakfast and Lunch

    As school begins on August 26, 2020, we will be following the National School Lunch Program and it’s requirements.

    1. We will serve meals, JME front door,  Mondays (2 breakfasts & 2 lunches) and Wednesdays (3 breakfasts & 3 lunches) from 11:00am-1:00pm.

    2. There are 47 meal sites (locations available on the FCPS website) where students/households can pick up meals at any site.

    3. Students do not have to be present.

    4. Meals are only available for calendar school days (no meals for Labor Day)

    5. Meals are only available for enrolled FCPS students.

    6. JME is a CEP school so any student enrolled here would have no charge for meals.

    For students with health issues, home delivery of meals may be available, contact Michelle Marra 381-4395 for assistance.

     During this time if you are in need of emergency assistance;

    -United Way: For emergency assistance with paying utilities/rent/etc, dial 2-1-1.

    Tates Creek Christian Church
    Food pantry available for our families.  No questions asked.  
    Days/Times:  Tuesdays-1:30-3:30 pm, Thursdays-1:30-3:30 pm


    God's Pantry
    Families needing food can also contact God's Pantry Food Bank at 859-259-2308 and they will walk the family through the simple process of receiving food.

    There are several locations, but JME most often works with the clinic at Harrison, but all locations should be available.
