I am very excited to have this opportunity to be your teacher this school year! This is my second year teaching fifth grade, and first year at Coventry Oak Elementary! I’m very excited to learn and grow with you this year. I hope you’ve been enjoying your summer. Get ready for an exciting year in 5th grade!

I am so excited to get this year started! I build my lessons around engagement and mastery of content. I want all students to love coming to school and learning new things! I believe that having a classroom of respect and rapport is so important! All students should feel loved and respected by each other and by me! I am a huge advocate for open-communication and hard-work from myself, each student and their families. As a mentor teacher once told me, “Education is like a three-legged stool--teacher, student and parent. With all three balanced and working together, the stool can stand up and be supported.”
