  • This year, our school is transitioning away from Google Classroom and to a new learning platform, Canvas. It has more family-friendly features, which you can access in the app.

    Student Tech Support

    The district offers technical assistance with FCPS email accounts and Chromebooks. The Student Tech Support line, (859) 381-4410, is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Translators are available.

  • Start of January 2021 Classes

    JCMS Families,

    Classes for students will begin virtually tomorrow, and schedules in Infinite Campus should be correct at this time.  As explained earlier, student schedules have been changed to accommodate for our graduated return to a hybrid of in-person and virtual learning later this semester.  

     

    Our school staff have fielded many phone calls and emails regarding these changes over the past few days.  Due to the pandemic, we have been charged with planning to run two programs within the same school using the same teachers.  We will have both in-person classes and separate virtual classes when it is safe, and this allows students in both groups to receive live instruction from our teachers.  To accomplish this we had to make massive schedule changes, and I apologize that we cannot accommodate everyone's teacher requests or requests for changes.

     

    Our new schedule may take a couple of days to upload into Canvas, our online class platform, so on Thursday and Friday our teachers will use the Zoom links below for students to access class.

    The links are grouped by grade level, subject, and all electives are at the bottom.  Please follow the schedule in IC.

     

    Important Information:

    • Thursday will be an A day (1st - 4th hour classes)

    • Friday will be a B day (5th - 7th hour classes)

    • Students should login to Zoom using their student account waffle and using their first and last name. ***Do not use Canvas on Thursday or Friday
