Dear Leestown Families,
Leestown Middle is committed to supporting you and your student’s Nontraditional Learning Instruction (NTI). We would like to provide our students with the tools they need to continue their learning from home since our superintendent announced we will not return to school until April 20th. Our teachers and staff have been busy creating instructional lessons that your student may complete at home.
Students may access their April 6 - April 17th NTI Assignments by visiting the LMS = Linked to MY School LIVE website or by picking up a paper packet at school.
To support NTI lessons, we are asking for you to come to LMS to pick up your student’s Chromebook. This will allow students to communicate directly to their teachers and also have access to online enrichment content. Please understand a Chromebook is not necessary to complete NTI work. If you have a computer and/or tablet at home, your student may complete work on that device. Please note, your school provided Chromebook has a webcam that will support online office hours your teacher may provide.
Thank you for your patience as we distribute the Chromebooks and NTI packets to our students. In order to make this process as smooth as possible:
- Please complete the Google Form indicating if you will plan to pick up a Chromebook or a paper NTI packet.
- Parent/Guardian please print and sign the attached 1:1 Chromebook User Agreement and bring it with you on your assigned Chromebook pick up day.
- Be prepared to provide your student’s name and the name of the teacher/class where they plug in their Chromebook at the end of the day.
Below are the Chromebook/Packet pick-up dates and times.
LMS staff is happy to offer a drive-thru pick up service.
