What to do: Employees should stay home if they have any symptoms of COVID-19 and report positive cases to our risk management team. Anyone who tests positive must stay home for five days. On day six, if you have been symptom-free for 24 hours without medication, you may return to work if you wear a mask for the next five days.
Time off: If you are fully vaccinated (immunizations and booster) or have a qualifying exemption, you are eligible for up to 10 days of COVID-related emergency leave if unable to work remotely. You can use the days for yourself or if your children must quarantine or isolate during the 2021-22 contract year. If you use up all 10 days, then you will use regular leave time.
If you are unvaccinated and cannot work remotely while ill or quarantined, you must use regular leave time.
Please ask your supervisor.
