Research Requests

We can help the public with research related to our school district. Before submitting a request, please review the data dashboards at Community Transparency & Accountability. Then, if you still need assistance, proceed accordingly.

FCPS Research Process

Submit external Research Request

All external research requests and associated data requests must be submitted eight weeks prior to the time the study is to be conducted. Note: Submitting an application does not automatically ensure approval. Also, an incomplete application will delay the review process.  

Please allow 10 days after submission before inquiring about the status of an application.

Note: FCPS does not allow external research data collection in April and May because of district and state testing in schools.
