Audition Tasks

Prepared Choreography Performances: 

Students will choose two (2) of the sequences below to learn, rehearse, and perform via video. 

Students interested in potential SCAPA placement must submit videos in BOTH the Ballet and Contemporary Sequence choreography below. Performances will be recorded at school by the GT resource teacher.

Choreography choices include:

Choice Piece (Grades 8–12): 

Students will submit an additional performance piece of their choosing. This could be an additional choice from above, or a separate performance or dance style they have learned or created outside of school.

On-Demand Skills Video and Guided Improvisation Video: 

Guided dance skills, technique, and improvisation tasks for all dance genres to be performed and video recorded at school.
