Audition Tasks

Each student will be asked to perform the one (1) required piece below.

  1. Student Choice Piece:

Perform one (1) piece of your choice.

  • Students should choose music that reflects their technical and interpretive abilities.
  • Music can be from any style or genre.
  • Memorization is highly recommended but not required.
  • Perform 1 to 2 minutes of your choice piece to showcase your musical strengths and abilities beyond what is shown in the required piece.  For time’s sake, your teacher will record a maximum of 2 minutes.
