Student Belonging & Success

The Office of Student Belonging & Success is dedicated to supporting students and the school community through a variety of essential services and strategic initiatives. We focus on individual student success and belonging, as well as broader school and districtwide planning.

Our staff consists of the Student Success Team and the Department of Pupil Personnel. Together, we focus on these key areas of work:

  • Student Registration and Enrollment: As the first point of contact for families entering our school district, our school registrars are poised and eager to provide enrollment support to families.
  • Student Engagement and Transition: Our team provides support for student engagement, transition, and drop-out prevention by managing individual student/family caseloads to ensure students are connected and supported. This work also extends to GED and adult education opportunities.
  • Attendance and Truancy: We offer supports to schools' attendance teams, families, and students.
  • Homebound & Home Hospital Services: To ensure continuity of education for students with specialized needs, our teachers offer quality educational opportunities through homebound and home hospital programs.
  • Student and Staff Belonging: Our work also encompasses providing guidance and support to school leaders and teachers in fostering a sense of belonging within the school environment.
  • Mentorship: We actively build community partnerships and family connections by supporting schools in designing impactful mentoring opportunities that enhance student and community success.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach Committees: We facilitate key district committees, including the Equity Council Committee, School Calendar Committee, and the School Rezoning Committee.

These functions represent our core commitments to fostering a supportive, engaging, and successful environment for all students and staff.
