Budget Solutions Work Group
During their June 9 planning session, school board members agreed to establish a Budget Solutions Work Group to collectively, transparently, and thoroughly examine the district's short-term budget plans and long-range fiscal outlook. The board asked that the members of the work group bring different voices to the table to ensure that we hear from people who represent different generations, neighborhoods, backgrounds, professions, and economic realities who experience our community and our schools through vastly different lenses.
The work group's meetings start at 5:30 p.m. at The Hub for Innovative Learning & Leadership (The HILL), at 100 Midland Ave., and the next two sessions are July 15 and July 29. The meetings are open to the public.
Afterward, summaries are emailed to FCPS staff and families, posted in our homepage News feed, and archived below. Additionally, each video is uploaded to the district's YouTube channel (@FCPSKY) the next day.FCPS welcomes your suggestions and constructive input:
