Budget Resources

The Fayette County Board of Education is responsible for adopting the fiscal year's district budget. FCPS encourages the community to follow the process and share feedback with the board. 

May 27 Update

The school board approved the 2025-26 Tentative Budget. In order to cover a potential gap in funding, the board also voted to send a resolution to the fiscal court triggering an expansion of the occupational license tax in line with state law.
