Experience: Former 16^th District PTA president in Fayette County, chair of the National PTA Family Engagement Committee, and currently vice president of Organization Services for Kentucky PTA; parent on Superintendent Interview Committee; parent representative on the District Safety Advisory Council; inaugural cohort of the Education Trust Family Fellowship (Washington, D.C.) in 2018; Commonwealth Institute for Parent Leadership (CIPL) fellow; Prichard Committee member; chair of the Kentucky Department of Education’s United We Learn council, assisting in planning, facilitating, and reimagining our public school’s assessment and accountability systems
