Fayette County Public Schools has affirmed that students in grades K-2 will have face-to-face instruction the weeks of Feb. 16-19 and Feb. 22-26. (Remote learning will continue for K-2 children whose families chose that option.) The move comes as the number of new COVID-19 cases in Fayette County continues to decline.
According to the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, the latest seven-day average was down to 127 as of Feb. 9. This data places the community in red, or Stage 4 of the FCPS In-Person Learning Matrix, which, in concert with the other transition factors, allows for a graduated return to in-person learning. All other grade levels will continue with NTI/2DL until their return date is determined. FCPS will announce next Tuesday about the week of March 1-5.
Rosa Parks Arrival & Dismissal Times: 7:35-2:25
