    Attention Juniors and Seniors - TO DO Lists



    • submit college admission applications
    • make sure FAFSA is completed
    • check on KEES account balance
    • scholarship searches (Fastweb, KHEAA, CollegeBoard, HC Counseling website)
    • housing application completed/submit housing deposit
    • orientation/schedule college classes
    • look for financial aid package (mail or email)
    • job search/summer job

    3 main steps to apply for scholarships:

    1. Apply for scholarships on individual college & department websites.

    2. Search HC Counseling Office Scholarships & Announcements.

    3. Use online scholarship search engines.  Click here for examples.


    College Visits

    Sign up at the link below to meet with College Representatives when they come to Henry Clay.  There is a list of colleges once you click on the link.  We will take college names down 24 hours in advance of the meeting in order to have time to prepare for the visit.  Please limit your sign-ups to 5-6 colleges.  If you need more, see your counselor.

    Incoming 9th Grade Scheduling Information

    On December 5, 2019, EJ Hayes held an information session for incoming 9th grade parents.  The Power Point with Henry Clay information from that session is linked here.  Henry Clay will have an information session for all incoming 9th grade parents on January 22, 2020 at 6:00 pm.


    Progress Report and Report Card Dates

    Progress Reports are given to students and are for the purpose of showing the student's progress at that point, while Report Cards are mailed home and contain final grades that will be posted to transcripts.

    • 1st semester Progress Report dates:  October 12, November 11
    • 1st semester Report Card mailed home:  January 8
    • 2nd semester Progress Report dates:   February 16, April 5
    • 2nd semester Report Card mailed home:   May 20


    Checking Grades and Attendance-  BIG changes coming October 4th!!!

    Parents can check students' grades and attendance using Infinite Campus.  If you would like a login to Infinite Campus, please go to and use the IC Parent Support Tool to gain access.

    CHANGES- Beginning October 4th students will now log into Infinite Campus with Google authentication which will make accounts more secure and provide more login methods.  Students will no longer use their student number as their username.

    • Preferred Method - Google Drive:  In a web browser, navigate to; login with your FCPS email address and FCPS account password.  Use the waffle icon in the upper right hand corner to select Infinite Campus.
    • Single Sign-On (SSO) button:  In a web browser, navigate to the Infinite Campus login page, click: Single Sign-On (SSO) and log in with your FCPS email address and FCPS account password.  Students should also use the "Single Sign-On (SSO)" button to log in to the Campus Student smartphone app.
