Trailblazers After-School Program
Hello! My name is Nathan Schneider, and I am the director of the Rosa Parks after school program. The program is staffed by a mixture of Certified and Classified Rosa Parks staff and College aged staff with an interest in early childhood education. We will offer a prepackaged snack to students once they are in our care after school. The daily schedule includes homework time and recess. The rest of the schedule depends on the age group.Cost : $210 a month per student.Program Hours2:45p - 6:00p Monday - Thursday2:45p - 5:30p Fridays (Movie Day!)
Our after-school program at Rosa Parks usually stays at capacity year-round and we currently have a waitlist for each grade level. When a student withdraws, I will contact families in order from when they were added and offer spots to fill the program. Students already enrolled in the program will have priority to re-sign up first. If you would like to be added to our waitlist please contact me at our program e-mail, email@example.com
Incoming Kindergarten students
For incoming kindergarten students that are starting next year, I also start a list of families who are interested in the program. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested and I can add you to the list, all I need is your best contact email and your student's name. Around February or March I will have a random lottery to determine which families on the list will have a spot in the program the following year. If you have questions about this process, please let me know.
