The purpose of this organization is to further the fellowship of all alumni and friends of Lafayette High School in Lexington, Kentucky, and to establish scholarships to assist deserving Lafayette graduates with an opportunity to further their education.

The corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious, or scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
