NTI: Non-Traditional Learning
Dear Leestown families,
Leestown Middle is committed to supporting you and your student’s Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI). We would like to provide our students with the tools they need to continue their learning while schools are closed. Our teachers and staff are busy creating instructional lessons that your student may complete at home.
Students may access their NTI assignments online at LMS = Linked to MY School LIVE website or by paper packets.
Turning in assignments
Completed NTI assignments will be turned in via Google Classroom or Canvas. Drop-off times will be announced for paper packets.
Teachers available to assist
Teachers will be available online to assist with work and answer questions. Select a morning or afternoon time that works best for you and your family. In addition, teachers will be available weekdays during office hours listed in Google Classroom and on NTI lesson plans.
Help Desk for families
Families who need technical support with their child's FCPS account or Chromebook may call the district's temporary Student Tech Support line, (859) 381-4410 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. weekdays.
Free internet access

“It was a really fun experience meeting other girls with different business ideas,” seventh grader Margeaux Gelter said after the trip.
“I may not be able to change what is going on in a child’s life, but I can listen to them, comfort them, and be there when they feel no one else is.”
"They’re motivated because there’s someone they want to perform well for. It’s someone they can look up to and relate to,” said FIM Director Shawna Howard.
