SCAPA Bluegrass is a school for students, Grades 4 - 8, who have been identified as gifted/talented in the areas of Art, Music, Dance, Drama and Creativity.
Students wishing to be considered for placement at SCAPA Bluegrass audition the year prior to the year of attendance.
Applications will be available beginning January 7, 2023 through January 22, 2023 for anyone interested in attending SCAPA during the 2023-2024 school year via this website and via the FCPS website.
NOTE: The student MUST be a current resident of Fayette County at the time of application in order to be eligible to apply to SCAPA. This is non-negotiable!
On-Line Application
The application window will be open from January 7, 2023 until 11:59 p.m. on January 22, 2023.
Make sure you click on "SCAPA Bluegrass" for the elementary/middle school application!! "SCAPA at Lafayette" is for high school applicants only.
When you are ready to work on the application, make sure you have:
- Email Addresses of up to 5 non-relative adults (minimum of 2 required) whom you want us to email Recommendation requests to for your child. We will send the Recommendation requests for you!
- Optional: A Short Parent Statement talking about your child’s ability and interest in the arts area of art to which they are applying.
