District G&T Programs
COVID-19 impact / GT assessments:
Because of school closures and rising COVID-19 cases, it is in the best interest of students and district faculty to postpone assessments for FCPS gifted and talented programs until we resume in-person instruction. After the district determines a date when it is safe to resume in-person learning, we will create a timeline to administer the GT testing. We will also email families directly with notification of a location, date, and time for the assessments. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. The safety of your student and our staff is of the utmost importance.
Opportunities available to students across Fayette County Public Schools include the Gifted & Talented Accelerated Program, the Liberal Arts Academy at Henry Clay High School; the Math, Science, and Technology Center at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School; the School for the Creative and Performing Arts at Lafayette High School; and SCAPA at Bluegrass (grades 4-8).
