Family involvement
Fayette County Public Schools recognizes that parent/family involvement is essential as we partner to educate our students and to prepare them for life-long learning. Find out more on the district level through the Family & Community Engagement Office.
Volunteering
To provide for the safety of our students, Kentucky law requires all schools to obtain criminal records checks for adult volunteers (KRS 161.148). Please start with the online Volunteer Application. You can also find out about districtictwide options. Please call Millcreek for specific opportunities.
Excused absences
For an absence to be excused, it must be followed up with a written excuse within three days. School board policy does not allow us to accept notes after this time, and absences will remain unexcused. Remember, when you take your child to a doctor or dentist, get a note.
ESP after-school care
Millcreek partners with Lexington's Parks and Recreation for the Extended School Program (ESP). Registration is first-come, first-served in available grade openings. Please visit Parks & Rec online for more details and to complete your application.
