Wellness Report Card
-
Each fall, Fayette County Public Schools produces a Wellness Report Card that describes nutrition programs and physical activity in schools across the district. The report outlines initiatives to improve cafeteria offerings, provide more opportunities for students to try fresh fruits and vegetables, increase Farm to School efforts, and encourage more physical activity. After a window for community feedback and a public hearing, the overview and districtwide goals are presented to the school board in late January.
Note: This year's version looks much different than usual because of the COVID-19 school closures in March and distance learning through the fall semester.
