Dear TC Students, Families, Community Members, & Visitors,

The mission of Tates Creek High School is to make learning relevant to prepare all Commodores for college and career success and for service as informed and active citizens with intercultural understanding and respect and our school community is extremely important to me.  I have been a member of the Tates Creek Campus Family for 21 years as a student teacher, English teacher, and Associate Principal, and I am beyond excited to continue to serve our school community as Principal.  We have wonderful students, supportive families, and an amazing faculty/staff - I’m certain by working together, our potential is limitless.  At TCHS, we are dedicated to our students’ academic success and maintaining an environment that is safe and welcoming.

Our International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme remains as our flagship program and I am proud that we are part of an illustrious group as one of the few IB high schools in Kentucky.  The implementation of our Freshman Academy six years ago has helped transform the educational process for our students. Our school community remains very excited about the wall-to-wall career academy model as it provides a transformative education experience for all students.  We’re a family at TCHS and we encourage our students and families to immerse themselves in our school community in some way through athletics, clubs/organizations, or as a volunteer.  We want all students to leave TCHS with 21^st century skills that allows them to become active, contributing members of society.   

We have a very active PTSA and my love and loyalty for Creek Nation is endless.  Our ongoing efforts to strive for excellence is evident through our core values; our school community is committed to being Connected, Responsible, Engaged, Exceptional, and Kind.  Being Creek is who we are, it’s not just a state of mind.
