Dear Students, Parents, and Guardians,
As the principal of this incredible school, it is a privilege to welcome you! Our mission at LTMS is to empower every child to perform at high academic levels of achievement. It is our vision students will actively participate in their school through engaging technology and arts-enriched lessons as they grow toward academic mastery.
My excitement derives from knowing the experiences and opportunities awaiting our students are extraordinary. In the coming school year, our students will experience education as never before at LTMS. This is the year every LTMS student will begin their discovery process. Our goal as LTMS educators is to enable our students to craft a vision of their future, find a passion and along the way, make some pretty amazing changes in their lives.
As the father of a middle school child, I understand a quality education begins when a child’s school experience is positive, yet challenging. We are committed to reward the very best in our students while presenting rigorous instruction, a highly structured setting and a predictable environment to learn. Our PBIS program is built around these guidelines for success:
P- Be Prepared
R- Be Respectful in words and action
O- Be On time and On task in class
W- Display a Winning attitude
L- Lead by example
To our students: You are the main attraction, our stars, and I hope this school year is one you’ll remember and treasure. Don’t be afraid to challenge yourself academically and through our extracurricular events. Remember our PROWL guidelines for success. If you practice these guidelines in every aspect of your time at LTMS, I guarantee you’ll thrive.
