I grew up in Lexington and went to Beaumont, Lafayette and Sayre School.

I graduated from Transylvania with a Chemistry/math degree in 1984 and received my Masters in Education from UK in 1990-
I received my endorsement in GT education in August 2016.
I worked at UK for 5 years doing biochemistry research before I started teaching.
I taught high school chemistry/science/math for 19 years at LCA.

This is my 8th year at TCMS/27th teaching year.

I've taught all 3 grade levels in the GT cluster. I've taught math and science during my time at TCMS.

I love kids:and feel making the classroom a fun place to be everyday helps learning happen naturally.

I love shopping for all things--groceries, school supplies, clothing--you name it. I love antiques and treasures from past decades. I love the beach. I also love taking walks with my dog Lola every day.
