Family & Community Engagement

Fayette County Public Schools recognizes that getting families and community members involved is essential as we work together to educate our students and prepare them for life-long learning. We aim for a districtwide culture that promotes partnerships to support student learning, enrich educational experiences, and prepare students to be successful citizens in a global society. Once parents, teachers, and community members view one another as partners in education, then a caring community forms around students -- helping to ensure their success both in the classroom and in their communities.
The Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team oversees the following initiatives and efforts:
- Community partnerships
- Community events
- Volunteer and mentoring opportunities
- Family engagement, including Family University and Family Learning Guides
