Hello students and families!

I have been working in Fayette County for 10 years now.  This is my 5th year teaching Physical Education at Coventry Oak.  I am originally from Virgie, KY which is in the far east part of the state.  I attended community college there and then transferred to Morehead State University to finish my degree in Health/Physical Education.  I completed my masters at The University of the Cumberlands in Elementary Education.  I love teaching students about the creative and simple ways to be active, healthy and make smart choices.  Most students don't realize the social and strategic components of physical education.  When they figure those out and I'm able to see the growth in them and their class, that makes my job even more enjoyable! 

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids.  We love to travel with family!  We also enjoy going to the park, camping, swimming, boating and just being active.  This year is going to be different, but we are going to make the best of it by staying positive and being flexible.  I look forward to seeing all of you soon!
