The current District Facility Plan calls for renovating 20 schools, adding on to eight schools, and building five new ones. Members of the Fayette County Board of Education will soon decide the order of those projects.

- New FCPS Center of Innovation, which will combine the career and technical programs offered at Eastside and Southside technical centers, and serve as a community resource for continuing education and workforce development

Did you know?
The most recent District Facility Plan, adopted in 2021, includes more than $1.2 billion in unmet needs. Thirty of the district’s 64 schools have not been touched in at least 15 years, and the average time since their last renovation or construction is 25 years.
