How to Report a Positive COVID-19 Case

Under state law, families should tell their child’s school within 24 hours of learning the child has tested positive for COVID-19. FCPS employees who test positive must also alert the district. Fayette County Public Schools has set up a call center to handle these notifications, which are reported publicly on the FCPS COVID-19 Dashboard.

• Call (859) 381-FCPS (3277) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays or from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, or 
• Submit your name and phone number via this online reporting form.

To get isolation and release dates from the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department, please email the health department with:

• Name of the person who tested positive
• Date of birth
• COVID-19 test date and location
• Phone number
• Home address
