There will be no in-person school-wide assemblies at this time. The plan for in-person school assemblies will be re-evaluated quarterly.
In-person programs and performances will be suspended through the remainder of the year unless able to access virtually.
Non-essential visits such as eating lunch with students and volunteering will be suspended for the remainder of the school year.
Families who are picking up children during the school day will be required to ring the bell at the front door when they arrive.
MES staff will talk to the parent on the intercom and give them instructions on how to proceed based on the nature of the visit. If a parent has to enter the building they will be subject to a temperature check and must wear a mask at all times.
- Students displaying symptoms will be escorted to the MES sick room for another temperature screening by the nurse or office staff.
- Any student with a fever (temperature higher than 100.4) will be placed in an isolated examine room for monitoring by the nurse or staff o have their guardian called for immediate pickup.
