Mrs. Brown is beginning her 19th year in education. She is a Lexington native and graduate of Henry Clay High School, the University of Kentucky (B.S. Communication Disorders) and Eastern Kentucky University (B.S. Elementary Education and M.S. Instructional Leadership). While at UK, she was a member of the varsity swim team and coached at her alma mater (HCHS) after graduation. Mrs. Brown has been a math intervention teacher at ACE for the past 13 years. Prior to becoming an ACE Eagle, she was a math coach, 5th grade math teacher, and intervention teacher at Breckinridge Elementary. Mrs. Brown has a passion for teaching math and meeting the needs of all learners. When she is not teaching, she loves spending time with her family (Greg, Emma - 16, and Amelia - 4) and friends.
