Jennifer Jacobs

Jennifer Jacobs has more than 16 years of experience in education (more if you count the years she ran school in her grandparents' greenhouse for her brother, cousins and neighbor children). Jennifer has served as a sixth grade teacher and middle school math teacher in Chicago Public Schools, a pre-K through fifth grade math coach at University of Chicago Charter Schools - Donoghue Campus, and an assistant principal at Scott Elementary in Mannheim District #83 in Melrose Park, Illinois.  Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree, majoring in history and minoring in art history from the University of Washington, and two master’s degrees from National Louis University, one in teaching and one in educational leadership and administration. Most recently, Jennifer completed the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) Program and the Truist Principal Leadership Institute sponsored through the Kentucky Chambers of Commerce. Recently, Jennifer was accepted into the Deeper Learning Leadership Forum with Envision Learning Partners. Jennifer resides in Lexington with her husband, two sons, and dog Cosmo.
